Here's an interesting chain of events.

The photo you see to the left was published on our pal Stoya's tumblr. We follow Stoya because she is smart, interesting and sexy. Three criteria required to be considered awesome in our book. The photo was taken by our friend Steve Prue. An amazing photographer of all things, a sweet guy and he's tall. Again, three criteria required to be considered awesome in our book.

When I first saw the photo, I was in awe because Stoya (as always) looks stunning. But then, I looked a little more closely and noticed the girl to the left of Stoya.

"Wait a damn second." I said to myself. "Is that Texas?"

The Texas I was referring to was a young lady who appeared in adult films very, very briefly. I was a fan and was looking forward to seeing how far she might go in the industry but alas, just as soon as I noticed her she disappeared, never to be seen again.

Occasionally I might hear stories about her, or I'd post questions to twitter asking, "Hey, whatever happened to that lady?" but ultimately it seemed that Texas was simply a shadow.

Until I saw this photo.

Because Steve Prue snapped the shot above, I assumed he might be able to provide a little additional information. After a quick email, it turned out Steve was good pals with Texas (or as he knew her, Amber) and had seen her as recently as last week! Frankly, I was shocked that missed an opportunity to meet Texas not only thru Steve but clearly thru Stoya as well considering she was the one conveniently sandwiched between Texas and another young lady.

By this point I was hooked and asked if I might be able to post some of these pictures on this here blog and talk a little bit about Texas and her time in the industry and ultimately her departure from it. Welp, in mere moments Steve had cc'd me on an email to Texas (or as I would now know her, Amber) introducing us and so thanks to modern technology, BOOM! Here we are.

Turns out, Texas lives in Las Vegas and is a happily married stay at home mom. While occasionally working as a model, she's pretty content living the quiet life. I asked Texas how she got into the adult industry and ultimately, why she left so abruptly and she had this to say:

"Basically, I got into the industry because my ex boyfriend (who was a manipulative piece of shit) wanted me too. I've got issues (obviously, hahaha), so I went along with it in the hopes it would pay off. It didn't. I was actually only actively shooting for something like five months tops. I met a ton of awesome people, and a ton of nut jobs, naturally. But all in all, it was a pretty good time. I mean, sex rules. Money rules. Looking hot is also among the things that rule, so it worked out pretty well for me outside of my idiot ex.

It seems a lot of girls get into it for that reason, typically because of some dude who needs money. My ex was successful. He didn't need my money. He was just a pervert. And if a porn star calls you a pervert, your shit is fucked up.

Even during her short stay in the adult industry, Texas was nominated for a few awards which she says was very flattering but she also said that being recognized in her personal life as a porn star was a little unnerving for her, saying, "I like the fame aspect of being a performer, but without the fame."

So there you have it. A photographic discovery. Plus, you get some outrageously sexy photos of Texas to boot, courtesy of the ever talented Steve Prue.

So what did we learn today? The gal gave it a go because of a creeper, had some fun and then moved on, found happiness and is content chillin'. She's still hot as sin and yes, she's all natural.

And, more importantly. Ladies, don't listen to creepers. Ever.
